M+W Instruments™ for Ammonia

The digital MASS-STREAM™ D-6300 mass flow meters and controllers of M+W Instruments™ provide the most feasible solution for industrial gases like Ammonia (NH3) with demanding characteristics.

Our mass flow meters and integrated controllers are equipped with stainless steel body (grade SS 316L) and EPDM sealing material. They can be used for gas flows up to 740 ln/min NH3 or up to 1000 ln/min Air equivalent.

The CTA thru-flow measurement with our inline sensor (no by-pass) is less sensitive to contamination!

Typical industrial sectors to which the D-6300 is well suited include:

  • Heat Treatment
  • NOX Reduction in Exhaust Fumes
  • Cooling applications
  • Catalyst processes
  • Fermenters

Mini CORI-FLOW Transfer Standard

The MeDD (Metrology for Drug Delivery) concluded a European Inter-laboratory Comparison of low liquid flow calibration. This first attempt to compare primary standards for micro flow (2g/h to 600g/h) will help the MeDD group to improve their calibrations facilities and methods.

The aim of this task was to validate the uncertainty of 4 primary standards (LNE-CETIAT in France, DTI in Denmark, IPQ in Portugal, EJPD in Switzerland). The comparison was performed through the calibration of 2 transfer standards (TS) by each of the laboratories.

Bronkhorst Cori-Tech regular M12 and M13 Coriolis mass flow meters have been successfully used as the Transfer Standard between all laboratories.

In a supplemental round of comparison VSL in the Netherlands and Bronkhorst also participated. The measurements showed that VSL and Bronkhorst are consistent with the harmonized values found in the initial inter-laboratory comparison thus proving that the quality of Bronkhorst liquid flow calibrations is (at least) at a similar level to that of European National Metrology Institutes!

Let Me Show You
Tutorial Videos

Since the introduction of our FlowDDE tutorial in September 2014 we have been working on the production of instruction videos for our support software tools, also called 'FlowWare'.

We take great pleasure in informing you that we have finished three more tutorials for FlowFix, FlowView and FlowPlot.

We have launched all the tutorials on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/BronkhorstHighTech

as well as on our BronkhorstUSA.com website, where they can be found in the Downloads sections under Support Software.

Showing Off in New Orleans

Bronkhorst USA will be in The Big Easy, exhibiting at PITTCON.

This will be our 9th year of displaying our accurate thermal MFCs, the world's smallest Coriolis meters and controllers, and our low flow high pressure liquid meters for the analytical market.

Come visit us at Booth #2606.

Simple System Setup

Idea

Often times an application will call for connecting and controlling more than one mass flow meter or controller, but not so many that a more complex PLC based digital communication system using Modbus, Profibus, or DeviceNet is desired.

FLOW-BUS is a field bus, designed by Bronkhorst, based on RS485 technology, for digital communication between digital devices, offering the possibility of host-control by PC or digital R/C-module (E-8000).

This field bus provides for easy installation, automatic node search, automatic bus optimization, and up to 120 nodes on a bus segment. A FLOW-BUS system can start small and grow as required because adding instruments is simply "plug and play".
