Way Down Low

Mini CORI-FLOW™

Mini+ValveBronkhorst is known as a supplier of precision mass flow meters and controllers for flows down to almost zero. Thermal instruments for a full scale flow of 0.25 grams per hour have been available for decades.

Flow meters based on the Coriolis measuring principle are available for flows lower than ever before. The lowest flow for which this medium independent instrument is currently available is 0.1 ... 5 g / h. We are, however, working to develop instruments for even lower ranges.

Do you have a need for a very low flow Coriolis meter or controller? Let us know how low you need to go.

Powerful Software is Included

Besides analog input and output signals, Bronkhorst instruments also offer standard RS232 digital communications functionality and optional integrated RS485 interfaces such as DeviceNet , Profibus-DP ®, Modbus, FLOW-BUS or EtherCAT ®.

For the convenience of our customers Bronkhorst developed a suite of software tools. These tools are designed for easy operation, readout, and data logging as well as for process control optimization and diagnostic purposes.

 FlowPlot 1

FlowPlot 2Using digital communications allows the external software to access parameters such as measurement, setpoint, control output, totalized value, and on our Coriolis instruments density, temperature, and sensor frequency.

The Bronkhorst software tools are included, free of charge, with every instrument order.

Analytical Exhibition

PITTCON 2014

This year PITTCON will be held in Chicago. We have not had the opportunity to be at an exhibition in that area for several years and we hope to see many customers and those with application challenges.

On display at Booth #1620 will be our accurate thermal MFCs, the world's smallest Coriolis meters and controllers, and our low flow high pressure liquid meters.

March 2-6, 2014

Coriolis Guidance

Idea

CoriCalc on the Net from Bronkorst provides advice and information to assist in selection of the correct Coriolis mass flow meter or controller for your application.

This powerful instrument sizing and calculation tool for Bronkhorst Coriolis instruments is integrated as part of our Fluidat on the Net and is available for your use.

The CoriCalc tool allows you to:

- Calculate pressure drop across mini CORI-FLOW™ and CORI-FLOW instruments

- Identify valve orifice size for Bronkhorst and other (special) valves

- Provide density, viscosity and phase of fluid (if available in FLUIDAT®)

- Get recommendation for up to 2 sensors and 3 valves as options

- Overview total errors and pressure drops at several flow rates for selected instrument

- Graphically represent total error (trumpet style curves)

- Printout calculation, overview and advice screen
