WINTER SUBSECTION OFFICER TRAINING AND TRUSTEE MEETING - Registration is Now Open









Mark your calendars for the Winter Subsection Training and Trustee Meeting, February 3-5 at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA. 

Subsection officers, the training you receive at this meeting will help you communicate to your members, and keep them engaged so they can maximize their membership experience. Don't miss this opportunity - we will even reimburse your hotel and travel!  

Registration is now open and you can make your hotel reservations as well.  

The Section Board of Trustees will be meeting on Friday, February 5. Don't miss the meeting agenda to see if you are scheduled to report.  Committee officers your Committee Report is due on Friday, January 22.

Registration for the 2016 PNWS Conference in Boise, Idaho, May 4-6, goes live January 4!

Conference information is now on the website. Look for technical information and hotel information to be added very soon.   Additionally,  The Conference Smart Phone app will go live early in 2016. Look for it to be available at your app store in February. 

Vendors - numerous sponsorship opportunities exist ranging from $900 for a booth to $4,500 for a Platinum Sponsorship that gives you maximum exposure throughout the conference as well as before and after.

Prices to attend will be the same as last year and include all meals.

2016 EXCELLENCE IN ENGINEERING AWARDS - Call for Nominations

Now is the time to enter your great project or nominate someone you think deserves the honor!

We are looking for outstanding drinking water related Engineering projects which have led to overall cost savings to the water using community, provided enhanced safety to the public and/or water resources, resulted in extended asset service life, integrated a cutting edge technology in the design, or other criteria that is representative of "Excellence in Engineering". 
 

If you have such a project or know of one you are encouraged to submit an entry by February 26.  
WENDELL LADUE UTILITY SAFETY AWARD - Applications are Due February 14

The LaDue Award is presented annually to utilities with the most impressive safety record in multiple classes. To find out more information about the award and to apply check out the AWWA website.  Applications should be sent to our Section's Safety Committee Chair Mike Jacobs.
