LSRJ Thrilled to Announce New RJFP - HIV Fellowship

Since launching the Washington, DC-based Reproductive Justice Fellowship Program (RJFP) in 2010, LSRJ has been helping to change the face of RJ lawyering by vastly increasing the number of entry-points into the reproductive rights and justice field while providing critical legal capacity to our allied organizations.

Today, we are excited to announce the next phase of this program. The

2014-15 RJFP - HIV Fellowship will place two (2) recent law school graduates for a one-year fellowship at two (2) leading organizations engaged in policy work at the intersection of RJ and HIV:

Positive Women's Network USA in Oakland, California
SisterLove in Atlanta, Georgia

As law school graduates with an understanding of the RJ framework and HIV issues, the RJ HIV Fellows will assist in research, interpretation, and application of law to aid the placement organizations' education, organizing, publication, and policy pursuits.

Applications for this one-of-a-kind pilot program are due May 7, 2014 and can be downloaded here.
