Become part of our STEM committee!

August 12 and 13, volunteers from SSFSC had a great time assembling and playing with our brand new ROV.   It even went for a swim!
The new ROV is here, the new ROV is here!
Through National BSA the SSFSC has secured a grant for the Square One Education Network (SOEN) to buy an underwater ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) kit for the council to utilize and incorporate into our STEM programming.

But now that we have it, what do we do with it? Thank you to all of the our volunteers that went to the training to understand the capabilities and uses of the ROV, however we still need individuals to become part of our STEM committee.  Be a part of bringing our Scouts into the cutting edge of science and technology!

Interested in being part of the STEM committee?  Please notify Alexandra Standal via email [email protected]

How can we hear you if we can't find you?
