Cushman to keynote Consortium's June Leadership Retreat 

 

Kathleen Cushman, a journalist who chronicled Ted Sizer's Coalition of Essential Schools (CES) and has authored some 16 books about education, including the widely lauded Fires in the Mind, will focus on student motivation in a keynote address at The Consortium's annual Leadership Retreat. Student leaders and advisors from 30 high schools participating in The Consortium's career exploration program, The Future Is Mine (TFIM) came together in December to debrief on projects, plan their 2014 Student Leadership Conference and hear from guest speakers. To learn more, click here.

Students to share College Knowledge

 

Students and teachers who participated in our College Knowledge event have been submitting plans to The Consortium   about ways to disseminate information garnered at the daylong program to others in their high schools. Once plans are reviewed, they'll share their learning in the months to come. For some highlights of the event, click here
