~ 44,124 Soccer Balls Distributed ~

Thanksgiving is a special time when we give thanks for all we have as Americans and individuals. We would like to thank you for all of your support over the years that has allowed us to fulfill Nick's wish and bring a little joy to needy children all over the world.

Guatemala - our newest ball destination!
This photo is from our first ball distribution in Guatemala. The balls were hand-carried & distributed by Dr. Deborah Flynn & a group of students from Southern Connecticut State University. The distribution was held at La Puerta Abierta (The Open Door), first conceived as a library and which now includes preschool, kindergarten and first grade, as well as a traveling library and literacy lessons for parents. Balls were also given away at a residential facility for people with disabilities, a health clinic and a cooperative that teaches traditional crafts along with the importance of children's (especially girls') rights.

Honduran Children Receive Balls & Other Supplies

U.S. Marines and Navy personnel stationed in Eastern Honduras recently visited children at the Jardin de Ninos El Porvenir In PuertoLempira. In addition to giving KFN soccer balls to the kindergarten students, they also distributed backpacks with school supplies, toothpaste and soap.

5th Annual Kick For Nick Night at Trinity in New Haven!
The New Haven Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps
The Trinity Bar & Restaurant in New Haven held its 5th Annual Kick for Nick Night on October 23. There was an amazing turnout that generated a huge donation and many soccer balls. The New Haven Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps played multiple songs as well as a beautiful version of Amazing Gra
ce. The support of the Veterans who helped organize the event and Trinity ownership all worked together to create a memorable and successful evening for everyone in attendance.

New Destination - HAITI

Another new country for Kick For Nick ball distribution is Haiti. Very happy to share these photos from the first distribution conducted by "Food for the Poor" on our behalf.

More Soccer Balls for Jamaica!

In honor of their daughter Stephanie who was killed on a relief mission to Haiti during the big earthquake, the Crispinelli family has established multiple schools in her name. Each year, KFN supplies them with soccer balls on their annual trip to build and expand the schools.
