Kick For Nick Soccer Ball
Greetings!
The holiday season is upon us and the end of the year approaches so at this time we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has supported Kick For Nick.  We are indebted to the soldiers who risk everything by supporting and defending our country; we thank our donors who have donated soccer balls and the funds to ship them overseas; and we are grateful for the children whose innocence and joy can be rekindled with the simple gift of a soccer ball.

A Message from the Front Lines

Mr. Madaras:
(Here is) A photo I think you might like. We met this boy in Khalis which is just north of Baqubah. I spoke to him about what he had learned in school that day. He said "English" and then recited the alphabet. I immediately thought him worthy of a Madaras soccer ball. As always, I have my
interpreter explain who Nick was and the significance of the soccer balls. He was very excited about getting the ball and took off with two of his friends to play.

Thanks again for everything you have done and continue to do.

Take care,
Charles

Grandparents Challenge Cousins to Help Others

The Matsinger Grandparents challenged their grandchildren to work together to help others. The project the cousins chose was to collect soccer balls for Kick For Nick.  Below is a copy of the letter that was included in the shipments of balls sent to our soldiers in Iraq.
