View Ken Burns' NEH Lecture 'Race in America'
The Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities, established by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in 1972, is the highest honor the federal government confers for distinguished intellectual achievement in the humanities.
Ken Burns, a 14-time Emmy and two-time Grammy award winning filmmaker, delivered the Jefferson Lecture on May 9 and discussed "Race in America," a topic he has illuminated and confronted through his nearly 40 years of directing and producing acclaimed historical documentaries.
Members of OLLI at Bradley are invited to stream the archived video of the lecture by clicking here.
OLLI thanks the National Resource Center for Lifelong Learning Institutes at Northwestern University for providing information about this event.
