Parking on campus is now open for the summer, until mid-August.  For any events that you attend this summer on Bradley's campus, feel free to park in any of the white- or blue-lined spaces.

Please note: Milling and sealcoating work has begun on Elmwood and St. James streets and will continue for several weeks, weather permitting.  Driving and parking in those areas will be restricted.  Parking decks and other surface lots are open.  Please use caution while walking or driving in that area.

See you at OLLI!

Curriculum Committee - Join Us!

All of the activities offered by OLLI are organized by committees of volunteers who do the work to bring the programs to life.

We invite you to attend the following OLLI Curriculum Committee meetings to provide insight about your past class experiences and to help us create a slate of courses for the upcoming season.  Each of our volunteers - like you - brings a unique personal network of people and organizations that can help create the activities that OLLI offers its members.

*Wednesdays, May 18, and June 1, at 9:00 a.m.
*Parking is is now open on campus for the summer, but some lots may be closed due to resurfacing

*Michel Student Center, Executive Suite (downstairs)

*On May 18 and June 1, volunteers will recruit qualified instructors for classes, construct class descriptions, and assist those instructors to submit a class worksheet by the June 3 deadline.

For more information, please call the Continuing Education office at (309) 677-3900.

We look forward to seeing you at the OLLI Curriculum Committee meetings!

View Ken Burns' NEH Lecture 'Race in America'
The Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities, established by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in 1972, is the highest honor the federal government confers for distinguished intellectual achievement in the humanities.

Ken Burns, a 14-time Emmy and two-time Grammy award winning filmmaker, delivered the Jefferson Lecture on May 9 and discussed "Race in America," a topic he has illuminated and confronted through his nearly 40 years of directing and producing acclaimed historical documentaries.

Members of OLLI at Bradley are invited to stream the archived video of the lecture by clicking here.

OLLI thanks the National Resource Center for Lifelong Learning Institutes at Northwestern University for providing information about this event.
