MCCLV received the
2013 International Service
"Everyday Hero Award"
 

MCCLV was recognized by the Red Cross for the outstanding achievement of our 2013 Global Outreach Project: Saving Children from Malaria.

  

The award was presented during a ceremony at the Paris Hotel on October 17th and included a special video on MCCLV prepared by KLAS-TV Channel 8.

Project Homeless Connect: 13NOV13 

 

 Project Homeless Connect
November 13th at Cashman Center
 

YOU can make a difference and help the homeless in Southern Nevada by volunteering for this important event. Folks are needed help with intake/registration, escorts (helping clients find their way to the location of various service providers in the exhibit hall), security, etc. Volunteers are needed for 1/2 day (morning or afternoon shift) and/or all day. It is easy and fun and for a good cause. For more info, click HERE.

My heart is so full of thanksgiving & gratitude!  

 

Thanks go out to the many, many wonderful folks who have already expressed their appreciation for my ministry during these years that we have shared in Las Vegas. I also give thanks that so many of you are lifting me and our church up in prayer as all of us prepare for the next phase of our amazing journeys. Our God is full of good surprises and new possibilities for ministry that are ready for us discover around each new bend of the path. 

 

YOU will always live in my heart even though we may no longer be together. Thank you for the many ways that you have enriched and enhanced my life.

"Saving Children from Malaria"
EXCEEDS our Goal for the entire year      
MCCLVs 2013 Global Outreach Project    

Malaria is a leading cause of death and disease worldwide. In Africa, a child dies from malaria every 60 seconds.

Malaria is transmitted by mosquitoes and a simple $5 bed net will protect up to 3 children.

Each year MCCLV seeks to make a difference and to change and improve the world in which we live. This year, we are partnering with the CDC Foundation to stop the spread of Malaria and save the lives of 100s of children.

Our goal is to raise $1500 which will provide 300 nets and save 900 children. 

Received to date: $2,272.07       

(454 nets protecting 1363 children)
