Four Reasons Why Your Troop Should Participate
Fall Product Sale Program  October 1 - November 15
Our 2016 Fall Product Sale Program is an awesome way for troops to start their new Girl Scout year. Troops and girls that participate can earn money for their programs and activities throughout the year. Girls can also earn  rewards. It is intended to reach family, friends, teachers and neighbors.

The Council's Fall Product Sale Program helps girls develop five key leadership skills: goal-setting, decision making, people skills, money management and business ethics.

Why participate? Check out these four reasons:
  • Troops earn early start-up funds
  • Girls earn individual recognitions
  • The funds help our council sustain and expand our programs for girls and volunteers
  • Online option makes it so easy for girls to sell
How much can a troop earn?
  • $1.00 for every Nut/Candy item sold
  • $7.00 for every "Save Around" Coupon Book sold
  • 12% of the Magazine Subscription sale price
  • $2.00 per completed Address Book
Example: If a troop of ten girls participate and each girl sold:
  • 5 Magazine Subscriptions
  • 2 "Save Around" Coupon Books
  • 24 Nut/Candy Items
The troop of ten girls would receive $500 in proceeds.
Troops participating in the 2016 Fall Product Sale will receive $.04 more for EVERY box of cookies sold during the 2017 Cookie Sale.

Update - NYPENN Council Mass E-Mail
What to Do If You Unsubscribed
We have an update regarding an e-mail you may have received from NYPENN Girl Scout Council on August 24. The e-mail was sent by mistake to volunteers  and parents nationwide. GSUSA has resolved this issue to ensure this does not happen again.

Also, please note the following important information: If you unsubscribed from the NYPENN council e-mail, it may also unsubscribe you from GSSEF council e-communications that you won't want to miss out on. If you did unsubscribe and want to re-subscribe to continue to receive e-communications from GSSEF, please e-mail customercare@gssef.org and we'll take care of it for you. Or you may access your membership record through MyGS to review whether your Email Opt-In is checked. If it is not and you want to re-subscribe, you can select edit and check the Email Opt-In box then save.

Please know that only email addresses were inadvertently accessed and no other information. Your data is safe and has not been shared outside the
