It's Almost Here!
GSSEF and the Customer Engagement Initiative

Happy Thursday! The transition we have been working toward for the last several months is now just days away. As Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida completes its final countdown toward "Going Live," we wanted to share some of what you can expect next week.

We are scheduled to begin the process of rolling onto the new system on Monday, July 18 beginning at approximately 11:00 a.m. (EST). We understand from GSUSA that two very important things will happen as a result of this roll over:

  1. A new link, MY GS, will appear on the navigational bar on our Council website. This will serve as the "doorway" to both membership profiles and the Volunteer Tool Kit. It will look something like this:

    2. Troop Leaders will receive an email (it will come from
gsusa-customercare@girlscouts.org) that will include a link to create a user
name and password that will allow you access to the information housed on MY
GS. This will provide them access to their Member Profile and to the Volunteer
        Tool Kit.

All other adult volunteers, adult members and parents of Girl Scouts will receive
an email that will include a link to create a user name and password for MY GS
that will provide them access to their Member Profile and/or that of their registered
      Girl  Scouts.

Beginning Wednesday, July 20, you will be able to use the link provided in the email to create your user name and password. Once your user name and password are created, log in and check it out! And if you are a Troop Leader, be sure and click on the Volunteer Tool Kit (VTK) to see all the amazing tools available for you as you work with your girls to plan the best membership year ever. We promise-you are going to LOVE it! Only Troop
Leaders will have access to the VTK, but they will be able to create plans and calendars that the parents of girls in their troop will also be able to see.

Next week will be full of excitement and will likely have a few challenges too, so we ask for your patience and understanding as we put our new ways of work into action.
While we are hopeful that this email reaches our entire membership, we realize that some of your emails on Monday may get blocked by email providers, stuck in SPAM filters, or simply overlooked. Please give GSUSA until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20 to get all emails out. If, at that time, you still have not received an email, please reach out to the appropriate team:

Troop Leader Volunteers should contact our Troop Support Specialists (Mileneda Joseph & Asha Robinson) at troopsupport@gssef.org to get access to the Volunteer Tool Kit.

Other volunteers, registered adults and parents of Girl Scouts should contact our Customer Care Specialists (Erica Hall & Sarah Knight) at customercare@gssef.org to get access to the Member Profile.

We hope you are as excited as we are to embark on this journey. We are looking forward to the amazing opportunities the Customer Engagement Initiative will mean for our Council and the girls we serve.
