2016 - 2017 Early Bird Re-Registration:
April 1 - May 15

Early Bird Re-Registration Begins Friday, April 1st!
Can't wait to start planning next year's Girl Scout adventures? There's a special time during the spring to re-register girls and adults for the next Girl Scout Membership year. Here's how You Tou-Can Be an Early Bird!

Early Bird 2016 - 2017 FAQ's

Who can participate in Early Bird Re-Registration?
  • All girls and troops registered by MARCH 31st are eligible to participate in Early Bird re-registration. The annual registration fee for the 2016 - 2017 membership year, October 1 - September 30, is $30 for girls and $15 for adults.
What are the Early Bird Guidelines?
  • All individually registered girls and troops must submit their online re-registration with payment by 11:59 p.m. on May 15 to be considered an Early Bird.
  • Troops must re-register 80% of their currently registered girls to be eligible for the 2016 - 2017 Early Bird incentives.
  • All Troop Leaders will receive an email on April 1 with a "click here" link to the GSSEF membership database, e-Council, to view their roster and complete the re-registration transaction.
  • Can't remember your e-Council login? That's ok...just email mjoseph@gssef.org and Mileneda will follow up with you.
  • A step-by-step instruction guide to access e-Council to complete your Early Bird Re-Registration is available here.

Why should I be an Early Bird?
  • Early Bird re-registration ensures girls a place in the troop and allows the Leader to know how many new girls she can add throughout the year.
  • Troops may utilize funds from the Troop Treasury to re-register girls easily with the money earned together all year long.
  • For families that do pay for their girl to be re-registered as an individual or with her troop, we find there are fewer financial burdens in the Spring than in the Fall. (i.e. school supplies, uniforms, etc.)
  • Best of all, there are incentives.
