Fall Product Sale Program is Here
October 1 - November 15
The GSSEF Fall Product Sale Program is now underway! Girls can sell nuts and candy items and magazine subscriptions to anyone - friends, family, neighbors, and teachers, both online and in person. Also this year, girls will be selling Enjoy the City coupon books.

It's an awesome way for troops to earn money for their programs and activities throughout the year. Plus, girls can earn cool rewards including a $100 Vans gift card to make their own unique one-of-a-kind pair of sneakers. The Council's Fall Product Sale Program helps girls develop five key leadership skills: goal-setting, decision making, people skills, money management and business ethics.

Volunteers and families are integral to the success of our product sales and we appreciate your support during the 2015 Fall Product Sale Program.

Questions? Contact Denise Fiorelli at dfiorelli@gssef.org or 561-427-0180.

GSSEF Program for 2015-2016
The GSSEF Program team is thrilled to begin a whole new Girl Scout year of exciting adventures with you! We'll be focusing our efforts on identifying and delivering Signature Programs and community-provider programs, exclusively. We encourage you to work with your Service Units to identify and plan local programs that suit your needs.

What are Signature Programs? They're exclusive council-sponsored programs that are large in scale and designed with totally unique and fun experiences JUST for Girl Scouts.

What does this mean for you? While we want to be able to provide programming in all areas, we want to ensure that we are providing quality experiences. Our main focus will be to deliver council-wide programs such as Spooky Safari, Mall Madness and Journey In A Day to name a few, but it will be the responsibility of the leaders and the Service Units to create, develop and deliver localized programming to the girls in your community.

Did a council program from the past catch your attention? Don't fret! The Program Team will be available to share ideas and resources to help you achieve program success!

Have you re-registered yourself and your Girl Scout for the new year? Be sure to do so soon! In order for your Girl Scout to attend all the great program events, she MUST have current Girl Scout membership for the 2015-2016 year.

Are you thinking of going to Movie Mania, Mall Madness, or an overnight travel program? Female adults must also be registered with current Girl Scout membership too!

In the meantime, remember to check out E-News for all the latest information on our Signature Programs.

Baby Basics Infant Supply Drive - October 1-31
The council-wide Baby Basics Infant Supply Drive is back! During the month of October, Girl Scouts of all ages will have the opportunity to collect and donate new/unused baby items to agencies with families in need. We have been working closely with our partners in the community to identify 'hot spots' that are at risk of their supplies being completely depleted. Girls that participate in this  community service project will earn an exclusive patch and community service hours for their efforts.

I Can't Wait for My Next Girl Scout Adventure!

Girl Scouts of Everglades Service Unit got together for a day of cleaning up the beaches in Deerfield Beach. Their efforts were all part of International Coastal Clean Up Day. What a great way to make a difference in their community!

Troop #10955 had a great time bonding with other CSA's (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors) during the Magnolia's Service Unit Older Girl Barefoot in the Sand Camporee at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. The girls loved the paddle board and kayak skills they learned while earning the new Senior Outdoor Paddling Badge. They also filled over 60 Hope Tote bags with various hygiene items that will be handed out to homeless men and women in Broward County. Way to go girls!

We'd Love to give You a Shout Out
