This is the last call for GSSEF to accept nominations for honorees at the Emerald Awards on February 20, 2016 at The Beach Club in Palm Beach.The event honors Palm Beach County women who exemplify the National Initiatives of Girl Scouts and serve as role models for today's girls.
 
 

Now is your opportunity to honor and nominate
a deserving woman.
   

   
These women should represent leadership in one of Five Areas of Excellence:  
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Financial Literacy
  • Environmental Leadership
  • Healthy Living
  • Global Citizenship

In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Philanthropy will be
given to a woman known for her generous support of programs that contribute to the well-being of our community.

Who can be nominated? A nominee for the Emerald Award must:
  • Have lived and/or worked in Palm Beach County for at least three years
  • Have achieved a major accomplishment or made a significant difference in one of the Five Areas of Excellence or Philanthropy
  • Not be a current officer or board member of GSSEF
  • Previous Girl Scout experience is not required    
Nominate an extraordinary woman in your community by first reviewing the nomination criteria and then fill out either an online nomination or a paper form. The nomination deadline is Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. 
 
The recipients of the Emerald Award will be honored at the Emerald Awards, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at The Beach Club in Palm Beach.
