Badges and Programs and Fun-OH MY!
Registered Girl Scouts can earn components of some of the National Badges by attending one of these programs guaranteed to put a spooky twist on some of our favorite activities.
  • Daisies - Join the experts at Lion Country Safari for this hands-on, interactive program and earn components of the Daisy "Three Cheers for Animals" Journey Award.
  • Brownies - Bugs help us in lots of cool ways. Explore the world of bugs and learn more about these little creatures that do so much and earn components of the Brownie "Bugs" badge.
  • Juniors - Stories, movies, and television are full of amazing detectives solving mysteries and bringing criminals to justice. Their jobs are important, exciting and take serious skills-skills you can try in this badge. Grab your magnifying glass and dive into the science of detecting and earn components of the Juniors "Detective" badge.
  • Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors - Do you have the guts to come to a totally grossed out program!? See if you can stomach the amazing things animals do to survive. Help the keepers make spooky enrichments and blood-popsicle treats! Can you survive this program? GROSS BUT AWESOME!
My zebra friends and I can't wait
to meet you!

Did someone say party?
We sure did! Change into your Halloween costume (something appropriate for all ages) to participate in an opportunity to win BEST DRESSED during our afternoon DJ Dance Party! And YES, your sisters and brothers can join the fun too!

What else is happening that day?
A Girl Scout event isn't complete without SWAPS! We encourage you to bring at least 25 spooky/safari themed SWAPS per girl to exchange at the party with your Girl Scouts sisters!

Community Service-Are you up for the thrill?
I'll be looking for you! And yes, lions love their toys too.
Girls will be able to help Lion Country Safari animals by clicking here for ideas on how to make "enrichments" (animal toys) that you can bring with you to the event. Not feeling crafty? No worries, you can still help the animals by donating any of the following items (gently  used is fine): tube socks, towels, blankets, stuffed animals, paper towel tubes (no toilet paper tubes please) and empty plastic bottles of any size with a lid.

Please adhere only to the items listed above.

Some additional information for your spooky day:
To help keep traffic flowing, please gather your entire party before turning onto Lion Country Safari Road. Don't forget to plan an hour of your day's activities to enjoy the spooky-themed drive-thru safari. Please bring money/bagged lunch. Earned badges are not included in registration cost.
