Girls are all looking forward to getting Back to Troop. And they'll want to look their best too. Our Council Retail Stores are featuring all grade-level polo shirts at a special price of $12 each. Girls will just love them.
Polo shirts for volunteers are also available at a great value price. Cost: $14 - $16.

Council Retail Stores will close for inventory at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 and will reopen on Saturday, August 1.

Last Call for Summer Camp Fun
While summer may be winding down, there's still time for your girl to cap her summer off with a perfectly fun and tropical weekend camp session. So just say Aloha to Summer on August 7 at Camp Welaka. This is the final overnight summer camp session. The theme is luau-inspired and open to Girl Scouts of all grade levels.

 GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math and Science) Club - Chemical Concoctions
Date and Time: July 28: 5 - 7 p.m. Location: The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

While having tons of fun along the way, our new GEMS club offers the perfect opportunity for girls to learn and grow as they discover the exciting world of math, science, engineering and technology! Each session of GEMS will feature a female guest speaker who has made a successful career in a scientific or engineering field. In this program, girls will become chemists as they mix together chemicals to concoct their very own glowing polymer! GEMS Club takes place on the last Tuesday of every month from 5 -7pm.  Alien Nights at the Museum

An alien invasion is headed your way! Make your own alien mask, explore meteorites, egg-extraterrestrial eggs and learn about sending rovers to the moon! Tell a story through the lens of a camera using camera angles and story boards to explore emotion and story structure. You'll then put it altogether and create a Digital Storybook while earning your Digital Photography badge. Fun patch is included. Badge must be purchased separately. Who knew LEGOs could help change the world? Bolt on over and go Nuts! Way cooler than your science class, this Robotics program will give you the chance to build and design your very own fully functioning robot. Work together with the experts from Bright and Smart on teams to build LEGO-robots. Learn programming and engineering skills. Don't short circuit - register today! Have you watched the popular TV competition, The Sing-Off? Then you know what a cappella singing is all about! Join The South Florida Jubilee Chorus, a Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, for a day of music, singing, and entertainment. In this one-day program, you
will learn basic music terms and types of music, four-part harmony and perform in front of an audience. The Unique Young Women in Harmony program patch, light breakfast and lunch are all included! Pam Metzger's Memorial Service - July 25
A memorial service and a reception for longtime Girl Scout volunteer, Pamela Joy Metzger (Tri-Star Service Unit) will be held at 1 p.m. on July 25 at Belvedere Baptist Church. The church's address is 301 Cherry Road, West Palm Beach. The church is near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Cherry Road.
All are welcome. Pam's husband, Tom Metzger, is very happy to have everyone. It is being suggested you bring a food dish to the reception in honor of Pam.
