Early Bird re-registration begins Wednesday, April 15!

Beginning April 15,Troop Leaders will be sent an email invitation with a link to GSSEF database (e-Council) to re-register the troop for the upcoming membership year...and earn exciting incentives!

Participating in Early Bird is Easy!

Upon receiving your troop's email invitation on April 15, complete the following steps to re-register your troop for the 2015-16 membership year and become eligible for this year's exciting incentives.

Follow these step-by-step instructions: 

• Click on the 'click here' link in your invitation email.
• A window will open with the login screen for the e-Council database.
• Enter your email ID and password.
• A new screen will open with the girls and adults currently registered in your troop.
• Select the girls to re-register by clicking the box next to their name (a check mark will appear in the box)
• Once all girls are selected, click SUBMIT at the bottom of the screen.
• The system will then guide you through one, simple online payment with a debit or credit card. We recommend using the bank debit card affiliated with your troop checking account.
• That's it - you're done!

2016 Early Bird Incentives

We are so excited to introduce the following incentives for participation in this year's Early  Bird. Troop Leaders commit their time, patience, and guidance to girls throughout the year. To say thank you and show our commitment to your continued participation in a leadership position, this year's incentives include something for you!

Troops participating in Early Bird and re-registering 80% of their currently registered girls by April 30 will be eligible for the following incentives:

• 2015-16 Early Bird Patch (all girls, leaders and co-leaders)
• Additional 3-cents per box of cookies sold during the 2016 cookie sale
• 1 - Troop Leader re-registration ($15 value) Please read important instructions below.
• 1 - Troop Co-Leader re-registration ($15 value)

Claiming Complimentary Troop Leader and Co-Leader Re-Registrations

Upon confirming that the troop's 80% benchmark has been met, Troop Leaders will be sent an email with a link to identify the leader and co-leader names for the complimentary re-registrations. GSSEF staff will then process the re-registrations for the leader and co-leader identified.  

Please Read 

Please DO NOT re-register the leader and co-leader for the 2015-16 year when you re-register the girls in e-Council. NO refunds will be given for troop leader and co-leader re-registrations that are processed and paid for in e-Council, even if they qualify for the incentive. All other adult re-registrations may be processed with the girl re-registrations or in a separate transaction. New this year! GSSEF wants troops to add NEW girls during this year's Early Bird period. It's simple - leaders will use this link to register new girls in existing troops between now and May 31, 2015.  

The registration fee for these NEW Early Bird girls is $45. The NEW Early Bird girls added to your troop between now and May 31, 2015 will be registered through September 30, 2016. That's the rest of the current membership year AND the 2016 membership year!

Don't look at this idea and Shake It Off! For every new girl added to an existing troop during Early Bird, leaders will be entered to win TWO TICKETS to Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour at the American Airlines Arena on October 27, 2015 WITH chauffeured car service to and from the show. This will be the concert that only exists in your Wildest Dreams! At GSSEF, we want to fill up the Blank Space in your troop with a new Girl Scout this spring.
