Martin Luther King Day Schedule

Council Service Centers and Retail Stores will be closed  Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, January 20. If you need any items from the service centers or the store, please be sure to make those arrangements prior to January 19.

It's Almost Time for the 2015 Girl Scout Cookie Sale: January 22 - February 15

The most anticipated Girl Scout program is now just two weeks away. Girls are gearing up for what promises to be our most amazing Cookie Sale season ever. This year's theme is There's Something Amazing Inside. The 2015 Girl Scout Cookie Sale introduces a new cookie ... Rah-Rah Raisin! Also, for the first time, we will be piloting a gluten free cookie Toffee-tastic! on a limited basis. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, a girl can find amazing ways to help others and make a true impact in her community and far beyond. She'll show you how amazing she really is! Plain is Boring: Bling Your Booth Contest 
It's time to ramp up your imagination, get your creative juices flowing and bling your booth! And then share it with all our Facebook fans. This cookie season we are having a Bling Your  Booth Facebook contest starting January 22. Wouldn't it be amazing to have fans lining up at your blinged-out booth. GSSEF Service from the Heart Scholarship was created in memory of volunteer Barbara Ann  Turner. Her wish was

that an ongoing scholarship be established to recognize exceptional community service.  

 

 We welcome girls in 9 - 12th grade to read more about this scholarship and the application process here. The deadline for application is April 1, annually.

Celebrate your troop accomplishments with a girls' getaway to Nickelodeon Suites Resort! Emerald Awards Celebration 

 

Registration is now open for the Emerald Awards Celebration being hosted at The Beach Club  on Saturday, March 14th. The event's presenting sponsor is Diamante Atelier in partnership with H. Seigel Fine Auctions. We will honor Palm Beach County women who represent the national initiatives of Girl Scouts and serve as role models for today's girls.

 

The evening's festivities include a live and silent auction, a chance drawing, dinner, dancing, and a complimentary cocktail hour- plus complimentary Thin Mint Martinis all night long! Purchase your event and chance drawing tickets today!

 4th Annual Thin Mint Sprint

Run, jog, walk - just don't miss out on all the fun of participating in our Annual Thin Mint Sprint. Registration is underway for the Thin Mint Sprint and Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash! This family-friendly event will take place on Sunday, April 12th at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. The 5k portion of the morning is a chip-timed race on a certified course, and the 100-yard dash is open to children eight and under. The first 300 to register will be receive a t-shirt, and a box of Thin Mints will be given to ALL finishers! Registered Girl Scouts will receive a patch for participation.

 

The race is shaping up to be the best one yet with plenty of fun activities for all. There will be face painting, balloon twisting, a photo booth, a light breakfast, and even massages!

The time frame for this nomination term is for services performed January 1 - December 31, 2014. Nominations can be made both online and on paper through March 15, 2015.
