Meet Us at Camp-Tastic!
Have you Registered?
Camp-Tastic! is OPEN to families, troops and kids of all ages! It's a great event to meet up with other Girl Scout camp lovers to spend a fun day outdoors.  From 12 - 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6th, explore Camp Welaka while engaging in exciting hands-on activities like canoeing, archery (must be at least 8 years old), fire building,  and so much more.  You can come for an hour or stay for the day and don't forget to pack a lunch. You Decide the Next Outdoor Badges?
It's truly girls' choice   
There will be four Outdoor Badges added to program in fall 2015-one each at Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior levels. And girls can help determine what they will be by voting online. All girls can vote - parents please help your girl cast her vote.

Registration Opens 10 a.m., December 1st      

Can you believe we'll be celebrating 10 YEARS OF MADNESS! Mark your calendars! Registration for Mall Madness 2015 opens on Monday, December 1st, at 10:00 a.m.! Anyone that registers  between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on December 1st only, will be entered into a drawing to win a gift card for each girl in their troop!   

 

Mall Madness VIP Admission 

VIP admission of $45.00 includes an exclusive 10th anniversary swag bag filled with goodies, patch, official Mall Madness VIP shirt, and first admittance into the mall.  


Mall Madness General Admission

Registration is Open for 2015 Cookie U 

Great Event - Same Day-Two Locations 
Now's the time to register for our annual Cookie University on January 10, 2015. Cookie U will be held at two locations on the same day and is open to all Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts. Both troops or individual girls can attend. Come for the girl-centric business sessions in marketing and finance - share amazing ideas - get inspired - and graduate with your degree in Cookie Awesomeness. All Cookie U students will earn and receive selected national GSUSA Daisy Leaves, Badges and our own Council Patch too. Stay tuned. 

Locations and Registration 
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. at both locations. Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. Girl Scout Cookie Sale Q&A for parents from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. The mobile retail store will be open with cookie promotional items and much more beginning at 9:30 a.m.!

GSSEF receives grant from Florida Blue Foundation

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Florida Blue Foundation to  deliver the Healthy Living Series program throughout our council. The series consists of three hands-on learning workshops. Girl Scouts at all levels will learn about Getting and Staying Fit; Eating for Beauty; and  Emotional Fitness.

Are you looking for ways to stay fit as a family?
It's been said that a family that stays fit together has more fun together.  And we have the perfect opportunity for you.  Our 4th Annual Thin Mint Sprint and Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Okeeheelee Park, West Palm Beach. And is open to the entire family. The 5K is a chip timed race that takes place on a certified course. The 100-yard dash is open to those eight and under. You can easily register online by clicking here.

  

Besides the race, the morning is going to offer other fun activities such as face painting, balloon twisting, a photo booth, a light breakfast and even massages! The first 300 to register will receive a t-shirt, and a box of Thin Mints will be given to ALL finishers. Mark Your Calendars  

Join us on Saturday, March 14, 2015 for the Emerald Awards Celebration as we honor five Palm Beach county women who represent the national initiatives of Girl Scouts and serve as role models for today's girls. We will also present a leading philanthropist in our area with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Philanthropy.  The Emerald Awards Celebration will be held at The Beach Club in Palm Beach.

  
The evening will be complete with a live and silent auction, dinner, dancing, and a complimentary cocktail hour. Tickets are $225 and will be available in December. For more information, click here.

GSSEF is now accepting applications for girl advisory members to our board of directors. It is for the 2015-2016 term. Applicant must be at least 14 years old. The application deadline is January 8, 2015.
