2014 Fall Product Sale Program: October 1 - November 15

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida's 2014 Fall Product Sale Program is now underway and runs through November 15. It is intended to reach family, friends, teachers and neighbors and will help troops earn money for programs and activities throughout the year. Girls can also earn individual rewards.

The council's Fall Product Sale Program helps girls develop five key leadership skills: goal-setting, decision making, people skills, money management and business ethics.

Did you know that even if your troop is not participating in the sale, your Girl Scout still can? She can earn proceeds for her troop and rewards for herself.

SPECIAL BONUS OPPORTUNITY!

Help the Council reach its goals and have a chance to win a great prize for your family

Everyone could use a little extra money or a little vacation this holiday season. Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida wants to help! If we all work together to help the council reach its goals, we will offer a special reward to two lucky families. If GSSEF reaches its goals, we will draw the lucky winners at random. Here are the details:

If the council's per girl average for all girls selling nuts/candy is 20 items, we will draw at random from all girls who reached 20 nut/candy items.

If the council's per girl average for all girls selling magazines and/or photo keepsakes is 5 items, we will draw at random from all girls who reached 5 magazines and/or photo keepsakes.

For each of these drawings, the randomly selected girl and her family will be able to choose between 4 (four) 1-day theme park tickets to ANY Florida theme park OR a $250 Visa Gift Card to spend as you choose. If we reach both goals, and your Girl Scout hits both sales totals, she will have 2 chances to win.

NEW THIS YEAR - Photo Keepsakes

Photo keepsake items make GREAT HOLIDAY GIFTS! Choose from hard and softcover books in multiple sizes, calendars, holiday and other occasion cards, labels, notepads and much much more!

Photo keepsake certificates can be purchased and given as gifts to others. These make great teacher and troop leader holiday gifts! Or use your certificate to build a book and print multiple copies to give to grandparents or other friends and family members.

NUTS AND CANDY
Sell in Person - Sell Online!

Girls can sell nuts and candy to anyone--friends, family, neighbors, teachers, etc. These items also make great gifts. They can sell in-person using the catalogs and printed order forms. If you don't already have your forms, ask your troop leader or contact Denise Fiorelli at dfiorelli@gssef.org.

Online sales are a great way to sell nuts and candy to others who don't live locally. The set up is a breeze, and now faraway friends and family can still support your Girl Scout.

MAGAZINES AND PHOTO KEEPSAKES
Sell in Person - Sell Online!

Your customers can renew subscriptions, order new ones or send them as gifts, all while supporting your Girl Scout. You can also buy lots of amazing photo keepsake items (see above). And this year, they can also order all of these products online, which means you don't have to worry about taking orders, collecting money or delivering anything... they can do everything right from their computer.

And it's easy to set up. Once your Girl Scout has a page, you can email all your contacts and post on social media using easy tools. Once the sale ends, simply log in, print your Girl Scout's Online Sales Report, and provide it to her troop leader so she can make sure the troop gets its proceeds and your Girl Scout get her rewards.
