There are just a few tickets remaining for the Inaugural Gems of STEM Luncheon on Saturday, May 10, from 11 am to 2 pm at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club. Join us as we honor four women from St. Lucie County who have excelled in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Special Recognition will be given to a St. Lucie County Girl Scout Leader with the Julia Jackson Leader Award.
The Luncheon begins at 11:00am and the afternoon is complete with keynote speaker Dr. Edie Widder, and both a silent auction and chance drawing.

2014 Gold and Silver Award Recipients
Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida recently held their Annual Recognition Ceremony. The event was a chance to honor this year's Gold and Silver Award recipients and the contributions of our outstanding volunteers that help nurture, guide and mentor the 15,000 Girl Scouts throughout the Council.
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout in grades 9-12 may earn.

Meet our 2014 Summer Camp Director: Chris MacMullen
Hello campers and families,
My name is Chris "Flutter" MacMullen and I am beyond excited to be your GSSEF 2014 Summer Camp Director. I have been a Girl Scout for 15 years. Eleven of those years, I have been a leader right here in our Council. I have been a leader at every level from Daisies through Ambassadors. I am also a facilitator for new leaders, an Adult Recognition Committee member, a Thanks Badge and a Thanks Badge II recipient.
 Girl Scouts has one-day outdoor camp programs for everyone - Girls, Boys, Moms, Dads and Families!
Spend a day at Girl Scout Camp. We pack big days with cool themes, classic outdoor adventures, outdoor cooking, games, competition, canoeing, crafts and so much more!
These sessions are a convenient way to add Girl Scouting into your summer at very reasonable prices.

Celebrate your troop accomplishments with a girls' getaway to Ni ckelodeon Suites Resort! Grab your troop members and do-si-do to the Nickelodeon Suites Resort to enjoy sweet rewards during the 7th Annual Girl Scout Thanks-A-Lot Weekend event (select weekends April - June, 2014).

Online Early Bird Re-Registration
The first 2,500 girls have re-registered for the 2015 Girl Scout membership year and will be attending an exclusive event at Lion Country Safari on October 11, 2014 for free! The next 1,500 girls who participate in Early Bird re-registration will be eligible to receive a ticket to the Lion Country Safari event at a special fee of $10 per girl.* Following the conclusion of Early Bird re-registration, Leaders of the qualifying 1,500 girls will be emailed a link to register for the Lion Country Safari event on October 11 for the special fee of $10 per girl. *Eligibility is based on troops re-registering 80% of girls currently registered in the troop for the 2014 membership year. 2014 Adult Recognition Awards
Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida recently held their Annual Recognition Ceremony. The event was a chance to honor our 6,000 volunteers who provide leadership opportunities for girls through their volunteer service.
Congratulations to all of this year's honorees!
The Family Award is given to a family making a significant contribution to Girl Scouting over a period of time by several members of the same family. The Community Award is given to a business or organization in the community who has provided considerable contributions of service in forms of facility, financial support or other benefits to the mission and GSSEF.
