What Time is it?
Dear Girl Scout Families:

It's hard to tell who is more excited about the start of the Girl Scout Cookie Sale -- the girls, or the customers who have waited all year to hear these 9 words: "Would you like to buy some Girl Scout Cookies?"
As you know, the sale kicks off today and runs through February 17. This is the perfect opportunity for your Girl Scout to learn more about and put into action the 5 skills of the product sale: Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills
and Business Ethics.
Girl Scouts and their families will be hard at work over the next few weeks to reach and exceed their goals. We wanted to take this opportunity to wish you the very best of luck on the 2013 Cookie Sale and share with you some of the exciting elements of this year's program.
lf you have any questions, or need additional information, please contact Denise Fiorelli, product and retail sales director, at dfiorelli@gssef.org or 561-427-0180.

Samoa Cupcakes - A Delicious Way to Support Girl Scouts

For the third year in a row, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida teams up with South Florida Duffy's Sports Grill restaurants to create a special Samoa Cookie Cupcake dessert.

This limited edition dessert, available through February 15th only, features a chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache, buttercream icing and a Samoa Girl Scout cookie on top. The cupcakes will be available at all Duffy's Sports Grill restaurants in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Brevard counties, and can be purchased for just $1, with $.50 being donated back to Girl Scouts. In the last two years, Duffy's Sports Grill has donated more than $12,500 to Girl Scouts.

"Duffy's Sports Grill is proud to partner with Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida and their Cookie Sale Program for the third year in a row," said Paul Emmett, president of Duffy's Sports Grill.  "Besides bringing in a great dessert for all of our customers, the Girl Scouts program teaches our youth valuable business and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them to be leaders now and in the future."
