FROM NEW BERN TO LAS VEGAS, LAURA BURGESS MARKETING SAYS 'THANK YOU'

Another SHOT Show has come and gone. While the Laura Burgess Marketing team mostly escaped the traditional SHOT Show flu bug, we still came home tired but happy! This year the team supported the most clients it has ever had at the event and, overall, our clients were pleased with the outturn of customers and media attention they received. In fact, after many disappointing months of our industry righting itself, optimism was back on the table. Although sales were not at the level of those fantasy-like months of the past, they were healthy and, most of all, realistic. All of our clients featured new products and several of our clients are new companies! Laura Burgess Marketing wants to thank all of you, retailers and media partners alike, for your continued support, through thick and thin. We are all in this together.

A few words from our clients on their 2015 SHOT Show experience:
"Overall, the Adaptive Tactical team pleased with the quality of customers that attended SHOT Show. For us, SHOT Show is not so much about writing more product orders, it's about growing existing relationships and establishing new relationships with domestic and international customers. SHOT Show is also vital for connecting face-to-face with industry media professionals. Not only traditional print media representatives but also the growing number of online media outlets. These outlets offer instant new product coverage to their dedicated online readers, viewers and listeners. Both traditional and online media outlets are crucial to the success of any company, small or large."
Gary Cauble, Adaptive Tactical

"The SHOT Show was an outstanding success for the American Gunsmithing Institute as it further extends its lead as the most recognized Premier Home-Study Professional Gunsmithing Course provider. The recently released Certified Glocksmith, 1911 Pistolsmith and AR-15/M-4 Riflesmith courses received great interest as the market for gunsmithing services remains strong and growing."

Gene Kelly, American Gunsmithing Institute

"The 2015 SHOT Show was again a tremendous success for ATN. However, this year felt like a different animal with more hunting celebrities than ever stopping by the booth to get a glimpse of the new Smart HD Optics lineup. The X-Sight HD seemed to be the talk of the show with traffic crowding the booth from all sides which has prompted us to consider an even larger booth for next year. Overall we are very happy with the new opportunities from SHOT Show and excited for what lies ahead."

Chip Fong, ATN Corp.

"Team Chamber-View was very enthusiastic and proud to exhibit at SHOT Show 2015. We were able to double our booth size from last year and locate in a new, high-traffic location. We always showcase a new product and this year it was our Chamber-View .22 cal. ECI. It was very well received. We made new friends and acquired unique partnership sponsor opportunities. The highlight for our team was sponsoring Industry Day at the Range. They displayed and delivered our premium, high visibility empty chamber indicators to the various range stations for hands on use and evaluation. Having one placed right into a full auto firearm's chamber after 90 rounds and a 700° F barrel without any effect is really amazing! For us, there was no question that people were shopping, buying and promoting safety worldwide for 2015."

Ned T. Bitsack, Chamber-View

"The show was amazing for us. The response to our products far exceeded our expectations. This coming year will be a very exciting one for our new company."

Eric Rogers, Dead Air Armament

"SHOT Show 2015 was successful for Eagle Imports. The new Grand Power pistol line generated a lot of excitement from buyers and media alike. The new Bersa XT pistol, which we will officially announce soon, also attracted quite a bit of attention from the competition crowd. For buyers and media that had not seen our Metro Arms line of 1911's and the S.P.S. line, we had the full line up present and made quite a few converts. Eagle Imports also thanks all of our customers for their unwavering support through our many years here at SHOT Show as we look forward to a healthy 2015."

Michael Sodini, Eagle Imports

"Fobus Holster had a great show.
Our new Universal Inside the Waistband Holster received widespread praise for its design, function and affordability and our entire line of holsters continue to receive accolades from our customers. We can't thank our customers and industry partners enough for their support," commented Ira Block, Fobus' new President. He brings to Fobus a decade of industry experience from Kimber Mfg. Inc. where he served at the senior executive level. "The entire Fobus team is pleased to have started the New Year on such a positive note and excitedly look forward to continuing to grow such an iconic brand," he continued.

"Liberty Ammunition had the best SHOT Show in our history! Our brand name is fast becoming a well-known contender in the personal defense world. We unveiled two new calibers, our 10mm and .45 Long Colt. With more customers realizing the benefits of our lead-free performance rounds, we are seeing a healthy increase in sales in both the civilian and law enforcement markets. Liberty Ammunition will be releasing more calibers throughout 2015, so stay tuned!"

Matt Phillips, Liberty Ammunition

"Masterpiece Arms had a solid show. Our new MPA30DMG pistol that accepts GLOCK magazines caught a lot of dealer's attention and so did our new bolt-action precision rifles built on our aluminum BA Chassis system. The new precision rifles feature a Stillers Precision action and Stillers/MPA Precision bolts with a Spencer/MPA hand-lapped, stainless steel rifle barrel. These new bolt-action rifles are now available in 300 Win Mag., .308, .338 Lapua, 6.5mm and 6mm. Plus, we now offer a MPA BA Custom Build rifle that offers customers a variety of action, trigger and barrel options on the MPA BA Chassis. We feel the market for these types of precision rifles will only increase in 2015."

Phil Cashin, MasterPiece Arms

NTOA

"We felt SHOT Show was a great success; our seminars had standing room only and created great buzz about the NTOA. See you in 2016!"

Corey Luby, National Tactical Officers Association

"Best SHOT Show ever! In years past, we prominently featured a lot of nylon products like bags, packs and pouches. We discovered that too many potential dealers and customers were lumping us into the 'just another nylon company' category. This year we experimented by leading with TPG Medical, Tactical Luxury, and TPG Ballistic line of products and the response was overwhelming!"

Dan Lounsbury, TPG
