The scholarship, designed to help college-bound area residents, was established in 2007 to kick off a year-long celebration of the firm's 50th anniversary.
"Cooper Levenson has always taken our role as a corporate citizen very seriously," said Steven Scherzer, Scholarship Committee Chairman. "We firmly believe that the best way to build a better community is to invest in the education of our youth and we are grateful for this opportunity to help local students achieve their higher education goals."
Nomination materials and application information will be sent to area high school officials and was posted at
www.cooperlevenson.com on Dec. 1, 2011 for downloading. The deadline for applications is March 9, 2012. Applicants must be college-bound seniors in high school. Preference will be given to Atlantic City residents
who demonstrate civic responsibility and academic achievement. Scholarship(s) of up to a total of $2,500 will be awarded for use at an accredited college or university.
