MANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR HANUKKAH
Shoshi Burton and the PAC needs your help to prepare our school for Hanukkah. Tons of jobs available starting NEXT MONDAY! Jobs include decorating the school for Hanukkah, staffing the Hanukkah sale, helping out at our school latke cafe, etc. We also need help assembling and packing paper dreidels for our HannuKonnection outreach project. Our students are decorating cardboard dreidels and filling them with Hanukkah-themed items to be distributed to students at a Catholic school, Ismaili community group and the Namgis T'sasala First Nations. Parent support would be much appreciated!

Get Out of the Kitchen this Hanukkah!
Our PAC is pleased to offer a latkes sale to save our families from countless hours of frying in the kitchen. Fresh, kosher and delicious, these potato pancakes are sure to please. Catered by Classic Impressions.
$6 for 10; $15 for 12.Order by Friday, Dec 12; Pick Up on Wednesday, Dec 16We will even deliver your latkes order to the parkade!
There is a locked mailbox outside Jennifer's office. You can drop off your payment there (or pay when you pick up)

Join our HANNUKAMMUNITY!
All VTT parents are invited to take part in building a Hannukammunity! Bring any decorative items that you no longer need to be glued on this giant Hannukiyah such unused jewelry, trinkets, eyeglasses, pieces of broken ceramics--you name it! Come and help make it special and leave your mark!
Visit any time during the week of Dec 1st to 5th from 2:20-3:20 with your items and a member of staff will be there to assist you and glue it on.
We will be sending a daily updated photo for everyone to track the progress of VTT's first-ever Hannukammunity!

Our Annual Hanukkah Sale has all you need for a festive holiday, from dreidels, candles and (Belgian chocolate, nut-free) gelt to decorations and hostess gifts for the Festival of Lights.
Sale runs from Wednesday, Dec 10th to Wednesday, Dec 17th
during both drop-off and pick-up in the VTT foyer.
Cash, cheque and credit cards accepted.
