We need a few volunteers to help pack these kits on Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:00 p.m. until dismissal. Send an email to vttpac@gmail.com if you can help.

Do you have time to help Mrs. Andersen in the Learning Commons on Friday, October 24th, on the Pro-D Day?
Contact Nicole if you can help.

SCHOOL NEWS

simhat torah
With musical accompaniment from the ever talented and highly energetic Josh Niehaus, Simhat Torah was celebrated in classrooms last Wednesday with visits from a parade of students holding a chuppah, playing musical instruments and Mrs. Lowenstein carrying the Torah.

pesach 80
Today's "Memory Monday" photo is at a Passover Seder in the 1980s. Can you identify any of the girls in the picture? All are either former or current VTT parents.

sandbox
As promised, the popular VTT sandbox now has a permanent roof on it to allow students to enjoy it year-round while keeping dry and out of the glare of the blaring sun (on the rare occasion).

playground
The pea gravel has also been entirely removed from our playground and replaced with engineered wood chips, used on most playgrounds throughout the Lower Mainland.

running club

Despite the early morning practice, our Running Club has a full complement of students from Grades 3-6. Special thanks to Mr. Noel, Mr. Lotzkar, Gretchen DuMoulin, Meirav David and Allison & David Setton.
