A very generous veterinarian has a challenge.

If we can raise $5000 for veterinary care from our supporters by Sunday, March 10th, she will donate veterinary services for that amount.  We have so many existing vet bills and so many other animals in need of treatment, we just can't afford not to meet the challenge.

Daisy
Daisy was recently pulled from a high-kill shelter.  She is stable but still needs heartworm treatment.





Eight other dogs in our care are well enough to start heartworm treatment, too.  Here are some of their pictures:

Sanctuary horse




Several of our horses, like the beautiful Rosie pictured here, will soon need their annual vaccines and Coggins tests.  With 23 horses and donkeys in our care, you can imagine how their vet bills can run up!







 
Cholo
Rollo is one of our older sanctuary residents.  He has some back  
problems and hasn't been feeling very well lately.  The vet just 
 put him on new medications, though, so hopefully he will  
be feeling much better soon.


  Piglet
Five rescued pot-bellied piglet sisters (Pixie, Pollyanna, Thelma,
Louise and Tulip) are all in need of neutering before they can be
placed in permanent piggy homes.
