The Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit (MSTU), just the third in the country, arrived at Poudre Valley Hospital July 3. Essentially a rolling ED, the MSTU will bring critical care, clot-busting medications, and telehealth directly to stroke patients. >>More

Faced with a rare synovial tumor that ate away ate his patient's knee joint and the bone and muscle above and below it, UCH surgeon Bennie Lindeque, MMed, PhD, seemed to have few good options to offer. Study Aim: Put the Wraps on RA   
A clinical trial led by UCH rheumatologist Kevin Deane, MD (left), will administer a drug to patients with biomarkers for rheumatoid arthritis, a joint-destroying, debilitating and dollar-draining disease. The work could lead to screening for RA and -- possibly -- prevention. >>More
