2016-17 Short Course First Practices   
Going through a chlorine withdraw? Don't worry! The 2016-17 Short Course season will begin soon! Below are the details on the first practices and tryouts:

FIRST PRACTICES
- Senior Team athletes competing at Open Water State: Tues, Aug 30 from 4-5:30 PM
- All other Senior Team athletes and all Age Group athletes: Mon, Sept 12 at the following times:
    - Bronze 5:30-6:15 PM
    - Silver 6:15-7:30 PM
    - Gold & Gold Elite 5:30-7 PM PM
    - Senior 4 PM

TRYOUTS
We will be having try outs for potential new athletes on Wednesday and Thursday, September 7 & 8 from 5:30-6:30 PM. Current athletes do not need to attend the try out. However, we are anticipating a larger number of try out participants this year and will need some help from our current athletes and parents.
Short Course Registration Forms & TeamUnify
The registration form this season might look a little different than previous seasons. We will be utilizing an online platform called TeamUnify for some of our registration process. Please complete the forms in the registration packet and return the to the coaching staff either in person or sent to jagsaqua@iupui.edu by Wednesday, September 28. After we receive your registration forms, you will be sent an e-mail verification from TeamUnify, where you can set up your online account. This account will allow you to enter meets, sign up to volunteer, view your athlete's times and entries, and more. We will send out more information on using TeamUnify soon.

Please keep in mind that you will not be able to enter your athlete into meets until the registration process is completed.
2016 Open Water State Championship: Saturday, Sept 17
The 2016 Open Water State Championship will be Saturday, September 17 at Prairie Creek Reservoir in Muncie, Indiana. This meet requires a qualifying time to enter. The deadline to enter this meet is Thursday, September 8. You must have a TeamUnify account to enter this meet. To gain access to your account, please fill out and return a registration form to the coaching staff.

2016 SSC Swim Fest: October 8-9 
The 2016 SSC Swim Fest will be October 8-9 at Hamilton Southeastern High School. The deadline to enter this meet is Sunday, September 18. You must have a TeamUnify account to enter this meet. To gain access to your account, please fill out and return a registration form to the coaching staff.
