Memories of Italy are vivid. Our trip unfolded with perfectly stunning sights and weather. We were comfortable with excellent accommodations and, of course, ate lots of pasta and gelato and walked and walked and walked. We left Venice after the cruise ships arrived and we arrived in Florence after the weekend crowds had left. We toured Tuscan hill towns that the big busses just can't fit in. I spent a few days alone in Istanbul just after the mass killings at the peace rally in Ankara. I wondered what would be happening in Istanbul and found Turkish life carrying on as usual. The flags were at half mast for three days and people were eager to talk of the changes they hope for. The old historical quarter was brimming with visitors mostly from Australia, New Zealand, Britain, and Germany. I am convinced it is the American media portraying Turkey that keeps Americans at home. I encourage you to join me next fall and discover this incredibly vibrant crossroads of history, culture, and beauty.

My friends are envious of my trip to Turkey.   What a magical adventure!   It's hard to name one highlight....the Turkish bath in Istanbul...Hagia Sophia...the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.... hiking the Rose Valley....the Dervishes....the market in Sirince....Ephesus....Apollo's Temple...our knowledgeable full time Turkish guide, ...the companionship of the other travelers....and more. Best of all Peggy ensures our utmost comfort. Who can forget the Argos Hotel or the charming inn in Sirince?   Words cannot adequately capture the joy this journey brought to me. Traveling with Peggy is like traveling with a very knowledgeable friend.

Our annual January Woman's Wellness Week in Dominica is our longest running trip. Due to Hurricane Erika we will not be offering you this trip in 2016. Please stay tuned for 2017.
