The first time I stayed in our hotel in Paris was decades ago and I wouldn't change it for the world. The location is stunning. Our walking tours of both cities will cover a lot of ground so stopping for a piece of Queen Victoria Sponge Cake or a Raspberry, Chocolat or Lemon Macaroon works well. England's weather in May can move from early spring to midsummer and back again all in a day. I have been there when it's been bone chilly and in other years historically hot. As always, layers work the best. Of course, a brollie aka umbrella is a must in England and shoes that don't mind getting wet as we wander garden paths. The international weight limits for airlines all vary and I encourage you to check with your airline to learn the limit. Overage can cost as much as $200 per bag which is an unpleasant surprise at the check in counter. Comfortable walking shoes are a must on all of our trips. Remember to limit your lotions and potions to 3 oz. All in a ziplock bag. See you in London!
