Dear Travelers:

Spring has arrived in the Northeast! Red Sox Fans are back at historical Fenway Park and on Monday the Boston Marathon will unite the world once more against the evil that lurks in hidden places. The marathon route has been planted with thousands of daffodils. Some of you know, I launched a Daffodil Planting Project for our village and with help from many hands we have planted many thousands of daffodils over the last 4 years. Wishing you all a beautiful Springtime as this season of rebirth emerges and fills our hearts.

The Best of South Africa  2015

I am so excited.  I cannot wait to share with you our 2015 Best of South Africa trip.  The Best of South Africa, using a natives viewpoint, is truly a one of a kind trip and one you will not want to miss.  Some of you already know I have been researching and collaborating on this trip for months.  It takes time, resources, and excellent local knowledge to handcraft exceptional tours editing the pieces all together for a beautiful result; a tour that gets off the paved road and into the heart of the place.  I am truly blessed to be working with a native South African woman who is renowned Nationally and Internationally for her work in the arts and, on occasion will orchestrate, tours in her homeland for select small groups.   As her as our our private guide throughout the journey, we will savour the local experiences and connections only a native has access to.  Together, we have crafted a stunning itinerary in a country that is beloved the world around.  From the wilds on safari at Kruger National Park to the coast, mountains, cities and villages, we will immerse ourselves in this wonderland.  The final details will follow in May. In the meantime, I hope I have planted a seed for your South African journey with us.

London & Paris

Mothers and Daughters traveling together make for cherished memories.  I am privileged to be working with a wonderfully creative mother and her two adult daughters for their trip to London and Paris this May.  A birthday celebration was the impetus for the trip and now all three are anticipating the gifts that two of the world's favorite cities will bring as they make cherished memories sharing precious time together.  A note from the mother to me as we began the planning process in January.

Dear Peggy,
Oh the girls are sooooooo excited!!! And we all want to fly together and will leave on May 10, so will need those extra rooms for that night... Thank you very much, all so exciting!!!
With thanks,
VH

Turkey

The Trip Adviser Traveler's Choice awards for the 2014 top ten world faves are in and Istanbul in Turkey is #1.  I can understand why and we have room for one or two more adventurous women to join us.  We started offering trips to Turkey three years ago when Istanbul was lesser traveled and I have encouraged travelers to go now as Turkey is in transition and these years will be the best time to experience Turkey authentically before McDonalds, Starbucks and numerous more hotels arrive.  There is nothing more to say except make your reservations to join us in Turkey.  You will be surprised and amazed by the friendly people, architecture and landscapes.  From the city of Istanbul to the mesmerizing land of Cappadocia to the coast in Bodrum, we are providing a diverse and exciting trip for you with excellent value as always.  In Cappadocia, in the restored village settlement created by a visionary native, we stay at a complex called Argos and it is indeed a rare and visionary place that has been restored, rebuilt and is really a living museum.  Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Bodrum and more weave a stunning journey.  Turkey is changing, tourists are flocking in, and before the authenticity is harder to find, now is the time to experience Turkey as hotels are building quickly and with progress, as well know, there is a price.  Finding the best of a country is what I love to do and to present it to you for your world memories.  Reserve your Turkey trip now and look forward to the colors of Turkey.

No Single Supplement

When I launched Serendipity Traveler, I initially charged a single supplement just like all the other travel companies do.  Most women requested and reserved a private room.  I pondered why not share the additional cost amongst all travelers so no one woman who wants a private room pays a single supplement and all women travelers enjoy their own luxe private room.  There is no need to share with a stranger when it's your holiday.  If you want to read until 3 am please do so.  If you are an early riser you don't need to tiptoe and, if you want to stay up past midnight and sing in the shower, please sing on.  Your room is all yours to enjoy.  Travel is a time to take time just for you and we want to enrich your holidays without adding single supplement fees.  We think you deserve the best with value.

Wonderful Wyoming

Perch  mountain side near Jackson Hole for this week experiencing the wonders of Wyoming and specifically the Grand Teton National Park.  There are lots of trails to walk and abundant spectacular wildlife to see.  Gallery hopping and, of course, the Western lifestyle adds to the fun. Walking under the Wyoming blue skies, visiting Jackson Lake, and taking a placid float trip meandering the scenic Snake River will leave you wanting to return. Our Wyoming trip is for women who like the outdoors and scenic wonders of the mountains. You will find walking trails suited for all levels here. Horseback riding at one of the stunning ranches can easily be arranged. The untamed west provides amazing opportunities to see herds of Wild Bison, Moose, and Pronghorns in their natural habitats.Sunsets are stunning here and sipping wine as the sun goes down over the Tetons is a slow ending to active days. Dust off your cowgirl boots and join us for a Wild West adventure this September in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have timed this trip to coordinate with The 30th Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival which will provide lots of additional color in the town of Jackson Hole when we are not photographing moose or elk in the Park. This trip will offer you a blend of nature at her finest and a local touch of art and wild  west culture which is fascinating.
