Dear Ladies:
  

December, with all her mystery and glories, is a most wonderful time of year to wish each of you the joy that is found in the beauty of the world, in the smile of a friend, in the warmth of family and in the music, wonder, and merriment of this season.  May your days be merry and bright.

 

Snowballs were introduced to our family from my daughter's husband.  This cookie is his Christmas favorite.  Easy and quick to make!

1C.unsalted butter softened
1tsp. vanilla
6Tbsp. Confectioners sugar
2C. flour
1C. finely chopped walnuts
Addtl 1/2C Confectioners sugar for rolling & sprinkling

Cream butter w/vanilla, add 6 Tbsp confectioners sugar and the flour
Mix well with your hands...Mix in chopped nuts.....Roll in small balls
and then roll to cover in confectioners sugar.  Bake at 350 on ungreased
cookie sheets for 12 minutes...Cool & sprinkle once more with
confectioners sugar.

There are hundreds more organizations that are doing the work of Christmas each and everyday locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.  Food Banks, Shelters, Churches and Veteran's Organizations all need our help.  It's Christmas time and the work of Christmas is everyday.  To feed the poor, shelter the homeless and share the love in our hearts with those we know and those we will never meet.

Serendipity Traveler women are amazing and support numerous organizations with their keen spirits and open hearts.  A gift in Serendipity Traveler's honor is made to The House of Hope in Dominica, a home for children, every January.
