Welcome to the colors, sights, sounds, and tastes of women's travel. We make it simple for you to travel without a best friend, your sister or a husband. Who travels with us? Married women whose husbands may not wish to travel as much as we do, single women who don't like to be on a tour with all couples or traveling solo, divorced women rediscovering their world, widowed women reinventing life chapters and enjoying new adventures. Some may be cancer survivors celebrating well being. You may be noting special birthdays or significant milestones. Some of you are taking your first trip abroad while others are well seasoned travelers. Wherever you are on your life's journey, we welcome you to join us, make new friends, and share memorable traveling experiences with a small group of active women living their travel dreams.

Winter Wonderland

Please join us this January to jump start your New Year on our Pure Bliss & Adventure Trip to the West Indies. Far from the more touristy islands of the Caribbean, Dominica offers the traveler an untamed gem! Perched in your private cottage under the canopy of rainforest, you will slow down. It is impossible not to. While offering you a slower pace, this trip is as active you wish. Hiking, snorkeling, yoga walking are all included activities. We include a spa treatment every day and offer all 3 meals and local transport to and from everywhere including the airport. We want you to relish your time. The Autumn leaves are falling fast in the Northeast and the air has turned chilly. I am dreaming of another journey to Dominica! Carry On! On a recent domestic flight I relented and checked my luggage. When opening my bags at my daughter's to get my jammies, there was a note card from the TSA who had opened, searched and inspected my bag. On the one hand, I am glad they have this random search program. On the other hand, it is a reminder not to pack ANYTHING of value in your luggage. Your carry on is another option unless the boarding agent tells you carry on is full. This happened to me flying internationally last month when the agent insisted that I check my carry on. As it worked out, another employee found space for the carry on in a totally empty bin. So much for the accuracy of overhead space available! Your handbag is best to be a bit larger than usual and is your safest storage for valuables like your passport, wallet, jewelry, camera, prescriptions, iphone and chocolate!

Ireland June 2014

The Ireland trip dates have changed. The original dates were June 8th arrival in Dublin. We will plan to arrive in Dublin now on June 5 and depart on June12th. As some of you know, we launched our first trip to Ireland this August and had a grand time. I can't promise another 8 days of pure Irish sunshine but I can tell you that the landscapes, people, music, historical castles, gardens and coast enamored all of us. Our Charleston trip next April is timed for the Charleston Garden Club's annual House and Garden Tour. We will also enjoy two nights in Savannah.
