Dear Travelers:

Welcome to new subscribers and thanks to all who read our monthly newsletter.

May is one of my most favorite months in New England.  I love the colors unfolding in the leaves and blossoms everywhere you glimpse.  The scent of the magnolias, delicateness of the cherry blossoms, and   the lilac's fragrance is pure heaven.  The bluets amidst the wild  headlands, by the sea.  It is so much fun to travel and explore the wonderful world we live in. Please share our newsletter with colleagues and friends who love to travel and plan to join us on one of our upcoming trips.

 England in May

Our English Garden Tour is coming soon and I am ready.  We have a delightful group including some ladies from Australia.  Prince Harry is causing quite a stir with his exhibit at The Chelsea Flower Show this year.  We may just get a glimpse of Prince Charming... that would be fun.  I am planning to take photos of the exhibit which is planted to create awareness of the charity Prince Harry supports.

Prince Charles is an avid gardener and supporter of children learning to garden and of organic principles in gardening. Prince Harry comes to gardening quite naturally.  You can make your reservations for our 2014 English Garden Tour June 15th

From Dublin to Dingle

Aer Lingus has some of the best fares across the pond to Ireland and our journey to Ireland is one of the finest ever. From coastal walks and explorations to pubs, cities, and countryside, our blend is superb and balanced to give you a true sampler of Ireland. What we include and more importantly what we leave out distinguishes us. What we leave out is always as important in any of our trips as what we include. So if you have wanted to sample the Best of Ireland, join us for this trip at the end of summer when the crowds will be less and the airfare less as well. We only have room for two more now so don't wait to reserve.

Turkey

Turkey is a mosaic that combines ancient and modern unlike anyplace else. Arrive in Istanbul, one of the world's favored cities, full of distinctive architecture, bustling markets, Ottoman restaurants, and fascinating neighborhoods straddling two continents. We will fly to the fairytale landscapes of Cappadocia which is a landscape unlike many others. You will walk the ancient ruined city of Ephesus and other historic sites as we meander along the Aegean coast to end in Bodrum, one of the world's Mediteranean ports. Turkey offers you hospitality that is genuine with people who are friendly and excited to be hosts to visitors. There is a refreshing exchange between visitor and local. Language is still catching up and our local guide is a wonderful conduit for us to discover and experience the riches of this land known as the cradle of civilization. Reservations for Turkey must be in earlier than some of our trips. We look forward to sharing Turkey with you this fall.

Autumn In New England

In the middle of spring moving towards summer, it is not easy to think about the crisp autumn air and magnificent colors that we will experience here in the Northeast this fall.  I had fun choosing this video image to create the mood of falling leaves and colorful autumn landscapes.  I have not offered our Autumn in New England trip in a few years.  I always enjoy sharing back roads and local gems with women when the fall colors are at their very best.  We sleep in historical inns, wander through quintessential villages, and tour Boston &Concord, Woodstock Vermont, and Rockport on Cape Ann.

The tapestry of colors is amazing amidst the crisp mountain air.  We begin in Boston which is America's best loved city and the most Renaissance city in America.  Salty air, beaches, cities, mountain landscapes, and more make this a perfect sampler of New England during fall foliage season. We will experience apple pies, hot mulled cider, lobster by the sea, amidst history, art, architecture and artisans.

 Mother's & Daughters

Several of our trips are perfect for mothers and daughters to make memories traveling together.  If you haven't traveled with your mother lately or you haven't traveled with your daughter, why not take time to plan something that you both will cherish and remember for years to come.  Sometimes splurging on a trip together is the kind of experience that endures forever.

Vita Sackville-West whose renowned garden at Sissinghurst we visit writes

"The country habit has me by the heart, For he's bewitched forever who has seen, Not with his eyes but with his vision, Spring Flow down the woods and stipple leaves with sun."
