This is a final opportunity to provide feedback on the Geomatics Indaba 2015 conference, exhibition and training event, and GI 2015 UAV Airshow, in order to enable us to improve and to assist us with your input in the planning of the next Geomatics Indaba in 2016.
 
Geomatics Indaba 2015 attracted:
  • 800 delegates
  • 700 walk-in exhibition-only viewers
  • 46 exhibitors with 81-3x3 m exhibition stands

Presentations included:

  • 2 local and 4 international keynote presentations in 4 plenary sessions
  • 3 panel discussions in the plenary sessions
  • 15 peer-reviewed and 54 general paper presentations in 2 streams
  • 32 training workshops in 3 training rooms

Side events included:

  • GI 2015 UAV Airshow
  • Optron / Trimble proprietary streams on 12 Aug
  • Aciel / Leica proprietary streams on 13 Aug

Social events included:

  • GI 2015 UAV Airshow on 10 Aug
  • Welcome Breakfast with marimba band and dancers on 11 Aug
  • Exhibitor Icebreaker function on 11 Aug
  • VIP Luncheon on 12 Aug
  • Networking Cocktail Party with jazz band and dancers on 12 Aug.
The GI 2015 UAV Airshow on 10 Aug attracted:
  • 400 attendees
  • 9 UAV suppliers that exhibited, demonstrated and/or flew their UAVs.

To get information and feedback on participant demographics and preferences, and to improve and serve your needs better, we are conducting a fun 4-minute on-line survey on Geomatics Indaba 2015 and the associated GI 2015 UAV Airshow.

We urge all those that attended and participated, including exhibition-only viewers, to complete the quick-and-easy online survey, as this will provide important information enabling your voice to be heard, and to ensure we improve to further meet you needs. 
 
For meaningful and statistically valid results, it is very important to get a high response to the online survey by attendees and participants.
 
The survey results will be published for open access online within a week, in the form of a high-quality feedback report, with comprehensive figures, statistics and graphs.
