Industry intelligence on South African wind energy
The Renewable Energy Independent Power Procurement Programme (REIPPP) has made South Africa an exciting world wind energy hub. Since 2009 there has been over 900 MW of wind capacity installed into the country aiming towards an estimated 3700 MW target for 2017. In light of this, a critical questionnaire was compiled which covers the most commercially valuable topics surrounding the industry today. This research was sent out to hundreds of industry leading decision makers, including C-Level leaders, financiers in charge of the largest wind developments, and industry associations.
