Aviation regulatory bodies play catch-up

Clare van Zwieten While unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in SA have taken off in recent years, it is actually illegal to fly or operate UAS or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) in SA. Reiterating this point, the SA Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) recently warned that it intends clamping down on the flying of UAS.
