ECA Bosveld Region charity golf day

 

The Bosveld Region of the Electrical Contractors Association of South Africa and Vector magazine invite you to play, have fun and do business at this year's golf day for ECA members, and suppliers of products and services to the electrical contracting and electrical installations sector. The proceeds of the golf day are to be donated to charity.

 

DATE: Tuesday, 15 April 2014
TIME: 10h00 for 11h00 shotgun start, followed by a prize giving dinner / braai at 18h00 

VENUE: Irene Country Club, 1 Main Road, Irene (see map here) 

FORMAT: The format of the day is a four-ball alliance with two scores to count 

FEES: There are only 30 four-balls available at R2600 + VAT per four-ball

The four-ball fee includes the green fees and services of one caddy / mandatory spotter, a halfway house "grab and go" lunch, and prize-giving dinner / braai. The four-ball fee excludes golf carts which can be booked on a first-come first-served basis from the Pro-Shop (012 667-1081) at R240 plus VAT each.

 

Please note that the Irene Country Club does not accept cash, and all payments for refreshments, golf carts, etc. from the Club and Pro Shop are by credit or debit card only.

 

Golfers are requested to respect the Irene Country Club dress code, and be at the golf course a minimum of 45-minutes before the start time in order to ensure a smooth T-off. Please find the club rules here.

 

Sponsorship opportunities

 

In addition to the 30 - four-balls, there are a number of sponsorship opportunities available for suppliers of products and services to electrical contractors and the electrical installation sector, and for other interested parties, including: sponsored / branded greens; sponsored / branded watering holes; and sponsored / branded prizes for presentation at the dinner / braai.

Commercial arrangements

 

EE Publishers - the publisher of Vector magazine, the official magazine of the ECA - is handling all logistic and commercial arrangements for the golf day on behalf of the ECA. Invoices for four-balls and sponsorships will be from EE Publishers for payments to within 30 days of invoice date. After the event, all net proceeds will be paid over to the ECA for donation to various charities.
