This is the only event in SA dedicated to the electronics production, components, systems and applications sector, and covers entire electronics value chain from technologies and components, to electronic PCB manufacture, SMT, production, testing, software and services.
The event is supported and endorsed by ADEC - the Association of Manufacturers and Distributors of Electronic Components in South Africa, and special discounted rates are available to ADEC members to showcase their products to the whole industry.
Electronic intensive opportunities and activities are growing fast in South Africa, and include the SKA project, local manufacture of TV sets and set-top boxes, prepayment electricity and water meters; LED lighting applications; security systems; revitalisation of the aging railway signalling system; contract electronics manufacture; and renewable energy applications. All this is good news for the electronics sector in South Africa.
