SASGI 2013

Thank-you and fun 4-minute online survey

SAGI and EE Publishers would like to thank all sponsors, supporters, endorsers, delegates, exhibitors, keynote presenters, session chairs, paper presenters, training workshop presenters, panel discussion chairs and panelists for their valued attendance and participation at the SASGI 2013 conference and exhibition, which was held over 3 days at Emperors Palace Conference Centre on 22, 33 and 24 July 2013.

SASGI 2013 attracted some 600 delegates, 500 walk-in exhibition viewers, and 41 exhibitors with 65 - 3 x 3 m exhibtion stands. The event was opened by the Minister of Rural Development & Land Reform, the Hon. Mr. Gugile Nkwinti and the Chief Surveyor-General of South Africa Mr. Mmuso Riba. There were 5 international keynote presenters, 4 panel discussions, 40 paper presentations and 32 training workshops. Side events included the Optron VIP Partners Conference and the NGI Briefing Sessions for work to be contracted out to the geomatics sector.

To get information and feedback on delegate and exhibitor demographics and preferences, and to improve and serve your needs better, we are conducting a fun 4-minute on-line survey on the SASGI 2013 conference and exhibition.

We urge all attendees to SASGI 2013, including exhibition-only viewers, to complete the quick-and-easy online survey, as this will provide important information enabling your voice to be heard, and to ensure we improve to further meet you needs. For meaningful results, it is very important to get a high response to the online survey

Those who complete the survey will be able to view the survey results online in real-time, in the form of a high-quality feedback report with comprehensive figures, statistics and graphs

There are also great prizes for the 10th, 30th and 50th lucky respondents to this survey!

Thank you in advance for taking the time and trouble to participate. We value your input greatly.

Kind regards

Peter Newmarch, SAGI president
