You are receiving this email because you are booked to attend the conference at the SA Surveying + Geomatics Indaba 2013, either as a full conference delegate, keynote presenter, panelist, session chair, speaker, training workshop presenter, exhibitor representative, SAGI representative or EE Publishers staff.
Dates and venue
The SASGI 2013 conference takes place at Emperors Palace Conference Centre, 64 Jones Road, Ekurhuleni, South Africa, on Tuesday & Wednesday, 23 & 24 July 2013, with the exhibition set-up and the OPTRON VIP Partners Conference taking place on Monday 22 July 2013.
Directions and parking
At the main entrance to Emperors Palace ask for the Conference Centre, which is the first turning to the right after you enter the main gate to Emperors Palace. There is ample free parking for conference delegates.
Transport and accommodation
Attendees at SASGI 2013 are responsible for their own transport and accommodation arrangements, and need to pay for these directly themselves. There is a shuttle bus to Emperors Palace from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport every 30 minutes. Ask at the inquiries desk at the airport.
Registration
Registration of delegates at the SASGI 2013 conference will take place at the Registration Desk in the Foyer at the Emperors Palace Conference Centre from 8 am to 9 am on Tuesday & Wednesday 23 & 24 July.
The Registration Desk will also be open from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesday & Wednesday 23 & 24 July to handle registrations and provide general assistance.
Registration is essential in order to receive your lanyard, name tag and delegate bag containing the conference documentation.
Without a lanyard and name tag, you will not gain entrance to the conference, exhibition hall and associated hospitality and catering.
Pre-registration
To avoid the rush on the mornings of Tuesday & Wednesday 23 & 24 July, attendees may pre-register and collect their lanyards, name tags and delegate bags from 2 pm to 5 pm on Monday 22 July 2013.
In particular, exhibitor representatives and staff are encouraged to pre-register on Monday 22 July.
Payments
Please note that unless specific arrangements have been made with EE Publishers at [email protected], payment to attend the SASGI 2013 conference is strictly in advance.
To avoid delays and embarrassment at Registration, please check with your company that payment has been made.
Credit card and cheque payment facilities are provided at the Registration Desk.
Please note that keynote presenters, panelists, session chairs, speakers and training workshop presenters may attend SASGI 2013 conference on the day of their activity only at no cost, and a reduced price is applicable for attendance and catering hospitality for the additional day.
