Minister Gugile Nkwinti to open SASGI 2013
Resume: Minister Gugile Nkwinti
Mr. Gugile Ernest Nkwinti is the Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform of the Republic of South Africa, a position he has held since 11 May 2009. Mr. Nkwinti holds a masters degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, and a Bachelor of Administration degree specialising in Political Science, Public Aministration and Applied Economics from the University of South Africa. Prior to his appointment as a Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Mr. Nkwinti was a Speaker of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature from 1994 to 1999; MEC for Housing, Local Government and Traditional Affairs at the Eastern Cape Province from 1999 to 2005; and MEC for Agriculture at the Eastern Cape Province from 2005 to 2009.

Essential information on related bid documents will also be discussed. Please join us if you are interested in bidding for any of the contracts listed below. Seating is limited so registration is essential.
Facilitators will be on hand to explain the type of contractual work offered, the bid documents to be completed and the process to follow in submitting bids. Should you have further questions you will be given the opportunity to meet with the facilitator on an individual and one-on-one basis.
The information sessions will be held as tabled below. The last session of the day, Bid Document Compliance, is of particular importance as many bids are disqualified for failing to comply with the general bid requirements.
