Closing date for call for workshops: 18 June 2013
 
A total of 32 one-hour training workshops will be presented in 4 training streams over 2 days (23 & 24 July 2013). To date, 25 of the 32 available training slots have been booked, with 7 slots still available.
The closing date for booking of training workshops is 18 June 2013.

A FULL PROGRAMME OF 40 PAPER PRESENTATIONS

Closing date for call for papers: 18 June 2013
 
A total of 40 twenty-minute paper presentations will be delivered in 2 streams over 2 days (23 & 24 July 2013). To date 32 of the available 40 paper presentations have been accepted, with 8 paper presentations still open.
The closing date for paper submissions is 18 June 2013.

Concurrently with SASGI 2013, Optron and Trimble are hosting the OPTRON VIP Partners Conference 2013 at Emperors Palace from 13h00 to 18h00 on 22 July 2013, followed by a cocktail party.
The OPTRON VIP Partners Conference 2013 will providing in-depth training on the latest technologies, applications and solutions in the surveying, geomatics and GIS sectors, and will comprise a plenary session followed by 4 parallel training streams.

  • Prof. Michael Barry, chair in land tenure and cadastral systems, University of Calgary, Canada
  • Rob Mahoney, secretary of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK
  • Peter Large, vice president and executive committee member, Trimble, USA

The SASGI 2013 Exhibition (open to all at no cost), will be staged at Emperors Palace concurrently with the SASGI 2013 Conference.

 

To date some 37 suppliers of products, systems and services, comprising the "who's who" of the surveying, geomatics, GIS, remote sensing and location-based business sectors, have booked 62 of the available 72 - 3 x 3 m exhibition booths at the SASGI 2013 Exhibition.
