This is a final call for papers and advertisers in Energize RE, a special Renewable Energy supplement to the May 2013 issue of Energize magazine.
This publication will focus on utility-scale Renewable Energy and associated products systems and services to the emerging Renewable Energy sector in South Africa.
The publication will therefore be a vital reference document for the electricity supply industry, and suppliers of products, systems and services in this sector.
Energize RE will be separate to Energize magazine, but will be mailed to 5000 individual recipients in the same envelope as the May 2013 edition of Energize. Each magazine mailed is estimated to reach an average of 2 to 3 readers, thus providing a readership of some 10 000 to 15 000 readers in southern Africa for Energize RE.
This is a CALL FOR PAPERS in Energize RE on Renewable Energy topics such as:
- Global RE technologies and trends
- RE legislation, regulation, economics, finance and business
- Utility scale RE projects and their planning, financing, design, implementation, operation and maintenance
- Wind turbines, CSP systems and PV panels
- Other components in RE systems e.g. for energy storage, power conversion, T & D, etc.
- Local and imported manufacture, assembly and construction
- Control, automation, communication and monitoring of RE systems
- T & D, smart grid, smart metering and protection applicable to RE
- New and innovative substation technologies for RE
- Social and developmental aspects of RE
Papers of approximately 2000 to 3000 words should be submitted in editable MS Word format. Papers should be generic in nature, and should not have an overtly self-serving or commercial content. Preference is given to original papers or papers that have not been published in South Africa before. All papers are subject to EE Publishers standard editorial policy, and may be shortened or edited by the editor to suit the space and style requirements of Energize RE. For convenience in preparing your paper, you may use our standard paper style template. Please submit the abstract / synopsis of your proposed paper as soon as possible, and the full-text paper in editable MS Word format by latest 19 April 2013.
