National Electronics Week and FORTRONIC Lite
We are pleased to announce that National Electronics Week (NEW) will launch its first regional event in Cape Town, and for the first time NEW will be co-located with the FORTRONIC International conference.
  
DATE: Wednesday 8 May 2013
VENUE: Cape Town Convention Centre
  
The event, which will be titled National Electronics Western Cape and FORTRONIC Lite South Africa 2013, will comprise an exhibition area featuring 50 to 60 stands of 3 m x 2 m each, PLUS a co-located one-day conference dedicated to the topics of:
  
"Lighting and Energy Efficiency"
  
  
The target visitor audience for both National Electronics Western Cape and FORTRONIC Lite will comprise OEMS, CEMS, designers, distributors, manufacturers, purchasers of capital quipment / components / software / services, technicians, universities, consultants and anyone involved in the electronics sector.
  
  
Costs for participation in National Electronics Western Cape will be R7995 for a 3m x 2m shell scheme stand, which would include walling, carpet, fascia with company name, power socket, 2 spotlights, 1 counter, 1 stool and daily cleaning.
  
Exhibitors at National Electronics Western Cape will have the opportunity to present at FORTRONIC for an additional cost of R3000.
  
The opportunity to be part of the technical conference for FORTRONIC Lite South Africa 2013 will provide participants with a 20-minute technical presentation to a qualified audience of designers as well as the additional marketing provided through the FORTRONIC website and it's international links and readership.
  
In addition to the above events, an industry networking reception will be hosted on the evening of the 8 May 2013 at a hotel close to the Cape Town Convention Centre for which exhibitors will be entitled to a quantity of free tickets for themselves and their customers.
  
Further details of negotiated rates on hotels and a floor plan for the event will be provided shortly.
  
Please note that the national NEW event will return in 2014 to Johannesburg (dates to be confirmed).
