New! Resources to Help You Set Healthy Limits

"Over the years working with parents and kids, I've noticed what a confusing and controversial topic setting limits can be. We parents tend to veer in two opposite directions when we set limits."

"But whichever path we choose, we seldom feel at peace with the limits we set or how we have set them. And our children react to the limits we set with an intensity that is unnerving!"

But it is possible to "learn how to actually build your connection with your child as you set limits." How?

"I Want It Now!"
Children's Wants and Needs

"We are citizens of a world full of people whose feelings of desperation need to be heard and healed, while justice is built. Offering love and listening to children while they wait for what they want is an important step in an excellent direction. And, fortunately, children with parents who set reasonable limits and then Staylisten to their feelings grow up to be thoughtful, responsible, and considerate adults.

Here's how it works."
