National Alzheimer's Advocacy Forum Paints D.C. Purple
The 2013 Alzheimer's Association Advocacy Forum celebrated its 25th Anniversary in April with its largest event to date, hosting more than 900 advocates representing all 50 states. The Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter was represented by a 32-person delegation.
Advocates and ambassadors gathered to discuss the upcoming public policy agenda, share inspirational stories, and most importantly, attend over 500 congressional meetings on capitol hill in search of support for the HOPE for Alzheimer's Act.
