Believe In Yourself ~ by Ginger Marks
Did you really read this month's quote? "It's
not what you are that holds you back. It's
what you think you're not," Denis Waitley.
When I found it I couldn't resist sharing it
here. How very true this statement is. Many
times the things that stop us from reaching
our goals are the very things that cause us
the greatest fear. After all what is fear but
the thoughts that we are not good enough, or
not smart enough, or not talented enough to
make it. You probably are good enough, smart
enough, and talented enough to succeed but if
you believe that you are not then that is the
truth for you at the time.
Our belief system tells us that we are
missing some magic ingredient that will make
us all of the above. What fears do you face?
Are you, like most of us, afraid of public
speaking? Do you fear rejection? Why? It is
probably because you don't think you deserve
better.
Wipe out those cobwebs from your brain, erase
the dust from the windshield of your eyes,
stand up straight and tall and yell at the
top of your lungs, "I AM GOOD ENOUGH!" I AM
SMART ENOUGH! I WILL BE ALL THAT I WAS MADE
TO BE!" Begin believing in yourself. Accept
the fact that you are exactly where you need
to be at this moment in time and that good
things are just on the edge of busting loose
all over your planet.

Increase Your Repeat Business ~ by Kim Emerson
There's a secret to acquiring repeat
business. It is not a very well kept secret.
Most business people know it. Many business
people actually do it. Some even hit the
mark when they do it. What is it? Sending a
thank you gift to loyal customers. Sending a
thank you gift is one of the most effective
ways to keep yourself in the front of your
customer's mind. However, the real secret to
staying in the front of your customers mind
in a positive way is to send the right gift.
How do you know what types of gifts to send?
Is it appropriate to send the same gift to
every client or customer? Sending the same
gift to every client or customer might save
you time, but it does nothing to help them
see themselves as special to you. One person
may love fly-fishing, while the next person
is a vegan and would be offended by the very
thought of catching a fish.
If you have a customer that is working at
dropping some weight and you send them some
chocolate covered cherries they may remember
you, but not necessarily with fondness. On
the other hand if you send them a gift that
boosts their self-esteem you will fare much
better in their memory. Get to know your
customers. Find out their hobbies and interests.
When you "care to send the very best" (for
them) they will remember you, they will keep
in mind that you cared enough to send them a
"signature" gift and they will return to you
for your product or service.

Subject: I need your help
Dear {first name},
I just did my quarterly inventory and find
that I am way over stocked. I need to make
room for the incoming order but I don't have
any idea where else I can store these items.
So, rather than succumbing to the fact that I
am living in a storage shed I have decided to
slash my {rates/costs/profit margin} {in
half/by xx%}.
This incredible offer is only good until
{short time}. What better time to start your
gift buying for the upcoming holiday season?
My oversight is your gain.
Visit my site at {URL} or call {phone#} to
request a {brochure/flyer/etc}.
br>
Gratefully,
Sincerely,
(Your name)
(Your title)
(Your contact information)
P.S. Don't keep this to yourself, share this
offer with your friends and family and when
they place their order and give me your name
you will receive {a valuable gift} as my way
of saying thanks for helping me keep my
sanity and my home.

How to Write from Your Heart by Kaya Singer
I love the internet. Within a short 10 year span
the internet has changed the whole way we can
communicate with each other. For someone like me
who thrives on communication, I love it.
If you are a small business owner, having
a good
website to market your business is
essential.
If you are like me, when you want to hire a
someone you go to their website and have a look.
In one short moment you either read on or
click off.
It's that fast!
Your website has to be sharp, speak to
your
potential customer, and have an easy way for
people to give you their e-mail address. The
common way is to offer a free downloadable
special report.

Featured Reader - Debra Shiveley Welch
I firmly believe that I have received
the same child I was meant to receive whether
I gave birth or adopted. The same soul, the
same entity was meant to be mine from the
beginning of time. Debra Shiveley Welch "A
Very Special Child".
Best Seller Author, Debra Shiveley Welch was
born in Columbus, Ohio and has lived in the
Greater Columbus area all of her life. She
now resides in Westerville with her husband,
Mark, and her adopted son, Christopher, also
a published author.
A third generation poet, Debra has been
writing since age nine. In her early twenties
she had her own column in the Baltimore Eagle
Gazette. Later, she worked as editor for
several newsletters, including as development
editor for The Parent Connection for The
League Against Child Abuse.
"The defining moment in my life is the day
that I became a mother, and our attorney
placed my son in my arms. I drew him to me,
breathed him in, memorizing his unique scent,
imprinting his essence into my very being.
It brought me full circle. I knew that this
was a very special calling in my life, to be
with this soul, and to share my life with
this child. To this day, I revel in his
unique perfume."
Written while waiting to pick up her son from
pre-school, A Very Special Child was
born.
Debra wanted to tell the story in a spiritual
way, and in such a manner that would make a
child proud to be adopted. She also felt that
it was important to reinforce the fact that
he or she was loved from the very beginning.
These feelings, therefore, were her muse, and
A Very Special Child sprang from her
heart,
virtually complete with the first writing.
Debra is the author of three books: A
Very Special Child, a Best Sellers in
English at Amazon Japan,
Christopher Bullfrog Catcher, written
by her son at eleven years of age, and
scribed by Debra, who also wrote its
introduction, and Jesus Gandhi Oma Mae
Adams, Debra's first novel, co-authored
with Linda Lee Greene, which recently made
AuthorsDen Best Sellers at Amazon. All are
available through Saga Books www.sagabooks.net
and www.amazon.com.
Currently Debra is writing The Adoption of
Christopher, an autobiography,
chronicling a woman's profound journey to the
adoption of her son, Christopher's Family
Table, a companion cook book to The
Adoption of Christopher, Cedar Woman, a
romance recounting the adventurous life of a
Lakota Sioux holy woman, and a thriller,
Heads Are Gonna Roll, an ambitious
tale weaving English history, reincarnation
and murder.
